Feature Info

ESM’s unique feature set was designed from the ground up to be used in a GMP environment.

ESM provides a shared, structured database that makes it easy for all groups within your organization to access specification data. No longer do you have to worry about "islands of information". ESM uses the common Microsoft Windows Explorer tree and folder structure to represent, organize, structure and manage GMP specification data.

Because specification data can represent many things to many different people, VPM accommodates any and all types of specification data. VPM can store tabular specification data, or it can store document-centric data such as word processing documents, AutoCAD™ drawings, Visio™ drawings, scanned images, Microsoft Project files, and even Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.

ESM’s association features make it possible for you to show the relationship between one specification and another. Features such as Revision History, Maintenance History and the ability to view notes for systems and equipment items further enhance the functionality of the system.

No longer do engineers have to develop complex Microsoft Word Specification documents, ESM will write the documents for them. Using a standard Microsoft Word document template, ESM collects all of the specification data entered into the ESM database for a system, area or even facility and creates a detailed, standard Specification document.
